The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) is set to captivate audiences at the National Day Parade (NDP) 2025 with a spectacular display involving 26 aircraft, marking Singapore’s 60th anniversary. The line-up includes six F-15SG fighter aircraft, four F-16 fighters, and a variety of helicopters and transport aircraft, promising a visual feast for spectators.
In a bid to engage Singaporeans across the island, the RSAF will conduct the “Fly Our Flag” flypast on 9 August, from 5.30pm to 6.20pm. This segment, now in its sixth year, will see two CH-47 Heavy Lift Helicopters, each escorted by two AH-64D Apache Attack Helicopters, carrying the State Flag across various heartland locations.
The main event at the Padang and Marina Bay will feature the iconic State Flag Flypast and an Enhanced Salute to the Nation. Six F-15SG fighters will execute a bomb burst manoeuvre, followed by four F-16 fighters in a diamond formation, symbolising respect and pride for the nation. Additionally, special aerial displays will commemorate SG60, with formations showcasing the RSAF’s capabilities.
A historic first for the NDP will be the integration of the Mobile Column with an aerial flypast of 22 aircraft in four formations. This includes a Multi Axis Flypast, Jet Formation Flypast, Helicopter Formation Flypast, and Transport Formation Flypast, highlighting the RSAF’s role in humanitarian and peace support operations.
On 10 August, the RSAF will continue its outreach with the Fighter Island Flypast, featuring four F-16s in a diamond formation, flying over various districts from 6pm to 6.30pm, allowing Singaporeans to partake in the celebrations.
