Singapore-headquartered Aspire, a finance platform for modern businesses, has announced its integration into the Amazon Payment Service Provider Programme. This collaboration allows Amazon sellers to receive same-day payouts directly into Aspire’s local currency accounts without incurring payout fees or foreign exchange charges, provided the transaction is in the same currency. This move aims to alleviate the financial burdens of cross-border payments, which often involve high costs and delays.
Millions of merchants utilise Amazon’s global reach, but cross-border transactions remain a significant challenge due to high foreign exchange costs and lengthy fund access times. Aspire’s integration addresses these issues by providing a seamless solution that aligns with the pace of modern commerce. In addition to fast, fee-free payouts, sellers using Aspire corporate cards can earn cashback on Amazon Ads and other digital platforms.
Andrea Baronchelli, CEO and Co-Founder of Aspire, stated, “We’re proud to be part of the Amazon Payments Service Provider Programme to empower global sellers with the tools they need to grow without friction in an increasingly interconnected global marketplace.”
Aspire’s participation in the programme underscores its mission to simplify financial operations for global ecommerce merchants. The platform offers multicurrency business accounts, seamless marketplace payouts, corporate cards, and foreign exchange optimisation, continuing to innovate and remove inefficiencies in global payments.
Aspire supports over 50,000 companies across 30 markets and is backed by prominent investors such as Sequoia and Tencent. The company recently closed a $100m Series C funding round and achieved profitability in 2023.
