NCS has announced a significant S$130m investment over three years to spearhead AI transformation across the Asia Pacific region. This initiative, revealed at the annual Impact Forum 2025, aims to accelerate AI adoption through three strategic pillars: Intelligentisation, Internationalisation, and Inspiration. The forum was attended by over 1,200 technology leaders and practitioners.
The Intelligentisation pillar focuses on embedding intelligence into business processes and AI systems. NCS introduced Sunshine.AI, a suite of AI tools designed to enhance organisational intelligence. This includes Sunshine. Coder for coding assistance, Sunshine.Operations for automating operational tasks, and Sunshine.Productivity for improving daily tasks.
Internationalisation involves cross-border collaborations with six major technology partners, including AWS, Databricks, and Google Cloud. These partnerships aim to deliver enhanced value to clients and expand NCS’s regional footprint, notably through a joint venture with Globe Telecom in the Philippines.
Inspiration is centred on empowering people and advancing communities. NCS has already AI-enabled over 10,000 employees and continues to lead in responsible AI development in collaboration with AI Singapore and other organisations.
Additionally, NCS signed a five-year Master Agreement with Singapore’s HTX to enhance homeland security through AI and robotics. This collaboration will integrate advanced technologies into the Home Team’s operations, improving public safety and operational productivity.
NCS CEO Ng Kuo Pin emphasised the importance of AI in reshaping industries and advancing communities, stating, “The investment we are making over the next three years will better enable our people and clients to create new business outcomes and build a resilient, innovative future with AI.”
