Sanli Environmental Limited, listed on SGX-Catalist, has been awarded a significant contract valued at S$105.3m by PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency. This contract involves Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (MEICA) works for a NEWater plant within the Tuas Water Reclamation Plant, part of the second phase of the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System (DTSS). The project is set for completion by mid-2028.
This new contract elevates Sanli’s order book to S$333.9m, reinforcing its position in Singapore’s water infrastructure sector. The company has previously secured two other contracts under the DTSS for the Tuas facility, including a S$66m project for odour control facilities and a S$170m MEICA project for the biosolids treatment facility.
Sanli’s CEO, Sim Hock Heng, expressed satisfaction with the new contract, stating, “We are pleased to be awarded this latest contract under DTSS Phase 2, which we believe is not only a reaffirmation of our MEICA capabilities to execute complex water infrastructure works reliably, but also a strategic opportunity to deepen our involvement in high-impact, public sector projects that enhances Singapore’s water resilience.”
The project is expected to positively impact Sanli’s net tangible assets and earnings per share throughout its duration. This aligns with the company’s strategy to focus on large-scale, sustainable infrastructure projects, further strengthening its role in transformative engineering initiatives.
