JJ-LAPP, a joint venture of Jebsen & Jessen Group and LAPP Holding Asia, has entered into a distribution agreement with Tonking New Energy to advance floating solar solutions across Southeast Asia. The agreement, signed during the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, builds on a previous memorandum of understanding between the two companies.
The partnership will see JJ-LAPP distributing Tonking’s innovative floating solar mounting systems throughout the ASEAN region. This collaboration combines Tonking’s cutting-edge technology with JJ-LAPP’s extensive market presence and technical expertise, aiming to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy in Southeast Asia. As the region strives to meet its sustainability goals, the partnership offers scalable and efficient clean energy solutions.
Tonking’s floating solar system is reservoir-safe certified and provides a plug-and-play solution for rapid on-site deployment. It boasts a high load capacity of over 600kg unit floater buoyancy and comes with a 25-year product warranty, ensuring long-term reliability.
The collaboration is a significant step towards enhancing renewable energy infrastructure in the region. By leveraging their combined strengths, JJ-LAPP and Tonking New Energy are well-positioned to support Southeast Asia’s transition to sustainable energy sources.
