Singtel has launched an enhanced Multi-Domestic Connectivity solution, designed to facilitate seamless and secure global Internet of Things (IoT) deployments. In collaboration with floLIVE, a cloud-native IoT connectivity provider, Singtel aims to simplify international IoT expansion across over 190 markets, including China, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. This initiative eliminates the need for multiple mobile network operator agreements, SIM platforms, and billing systems.
The new solution is further strengthened by a Memorandum of Understanding with Lenovo Connect, a global wireless service provider. This partnership focuses on aiding Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in expanding to international markets efficiently and compliantly through a unified platform. The solution is particularly beneficial for automotive OEMs developing connected vehicles, offering reliable and scalable IoT connectivity essential for features like navigation, safety updates, and autonomous driving.
Ng Tian Chong, CEO of Singtel Singapore, highlighted the company’s strategic investments in network infrastructure and global partnerships, stating, “Singtel is well-placed to help companies seeking to expand into new markets with this transformative global IoT solution that simplifies global connectivity, ensures compliance, and enables scalable device lifecycle management.”
The solution addresses the fragmented landscape of mobile network operator platforms by providing a unified portal for integration and management. It offers real-time visibility and control, enabling enterprises to manage devices remotely and ensure superior performance. With the global connected car market projected to exceed $250 billion by 2030, Singtel’s offering is timely for OEMs facing growing demand for real-time services.
