CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust (CICT) has successfully completed the sale of its 100% interest in Asia Square Tower 2, as announced by CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust Management Limited on 17 September 2026. The transaction, which was initially disclosed on 20 April 2026, concluded with the manager opting to receive divestment fees of approximately S$12.4m in cash, representing 0.5% of the agreed property value.
The completion of this sale marks a significant milestone for CICT, as it continues to optimise its portfolio through strategic divestments. Asia Square Tower 2, a prominent commercial property in Singapore, has been a key asset within CICT’s portfolio. The divestment aligns with the trust’s strategy to recycle capital and enhance value for its unitholders.
The manager of CICT, CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust Management Limited, emphasised the importance of this transaction in maintaining a robust and dynamic portfolio. The decision to receive the divestment fees in cash provides CICT with greater financial flexibility to pursue future investment opportunities.
