Hang Ten Systems has announced an additional US$53m in seed funding, led by Xora, a Temasek-backed fund, bringing the company’s total funding to US$85m. The funding round also saw participation from Mayfield, Aramco Ventures, and notable figures such as Lip-Bu Tan, CEO of Intel, and Sanjay Mehrotra, CEO of Micron Technology. Jerry Yang, co-founder of Yahoo!, has joined the company’s board of directors.
The fresh capital injection will support Hang Ten Systems in expanding its engineering and consulting teams, enhancing its platform, and developing its agentic skills library. The company, which offers advisory, transformation, and applied-AI services, operates through a native-AI delivery model that promises cost-effective and timely enterprise software solutions.
Phil Inagaki, Managing Partner at Xora, highlighted the importance of swift and secure AI deployment, stating, “Hang Ten’s team has built and operated these systems from the inside, and its model is delivering value faster with smaller teams.” The urgency to deploy AI in core operations is echoed across regions, including Singapore.
Hang Ten is already collaborating with major enterprises like Aramco and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. Mahdi Aladel, CEO of Aramco Ventures, expressed enthusiasm for Hang Ten’s approach, noting its broad applicability across various functions. Vinod Philip, CEO of Siemens Gamesa, praised the company’s execution speed and quality.
Founder and CEO Dr. Vishal Sikka emphasised the transformative potential of AI, stating, “AI can be the most powerful amplifier we have ever built.” With the backing of Xora and other investors, Hang Ten Systems is poised to expand its influence in the AI sector globally.
