BYD and MOGOX, trading as Zhidao Network Technology Co Ltd Beijing, have launched an 8.5-metre right-hand-drive Level 4 autonomous electric bus at the Singapore Urban Mobility Week (SUMW) 2026. This marks the global debut of the B90 model, designed for international markets with a focus on efficient adaptation to various traffic rules and road conditions.
The bus is built on BYD’s electric bus platform and features MOGOX’s MOGO AutoPilot system. This integration aims to enhance compatibility and support scalable production and deployment. The vehicle’s low-floor layout and ultra-short rear overhang improve manoeuvrability on narrow urban roads and facilitate easier boarding for elderly passengers and those with reduced mobility.
MOGOX has optimised the bus’s driving models, sensor layouts, and hardware for long-duration operations. The MOGO AutoPilot system, equipped with cameras and solid-state LiDAR, is localised for left-hand traffic and right-hand-drive markets, including Singapore. The modular architecture covers seven adaptation areas, aiming to shorten deployment cycles.
Singapore serves as a strategic gateway for MOGOX’s international expansion. The company has secured a contract for Singapore’s first official Level 4 autonomous bus project and passed the Land Transport Authority’s Milestone 1 test. Collaborations with ComfortDelGro Bus and other international partners, such as Sales-Lentz Group in Luxembourg and LG Electronics in South Korea, further support its global ambitions.
Through its partnership with BYD, MOGOX aims to transform its autonomous driving capabilities into adaptable, factory-integrated products for efficient public transport deployment worldwide.
