EHL Hospitality Business School has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Apaleo, a leading property management platform, to enhance its Master’s in Hospitality Management programme. This collaboration, starting with the upcoming academic cycle, aims to equip students with hands-on experience in hospitality technology, crucial for managing the anticipated influx of 17 to 18 million visitors to Singapore this year.
Apaleo, known for its open API-first platform used by over 2,200 properties globally, will become the first official industry partner for EHL’s Human-Centred Digitalisation specialisation. The partnership will see Apaleo experts participating as guest speakers and hosting students for immersive experiences at their facilities. Students will engage in Concept Week, where they will develop digital products inspired by Apaleo’s projects and tackle real business research questions for their capstone projects.
This initiative is designed to expose students to the practicalities of building and scaling hospitality technology, focusing on how these innovations enhance guest experiences. “Digital transformation succeeds or fails on how well it serves people,” said Alessandro Inversini, specialisation director at EHL. Florian Montag, SVP Revenue at Apaleo, added, “Apaleo exists to empower hoteliers to achieve their goals and make life easier for their teams.”
The collaboration promises to prepare students for the evolving demands of the hospitality industry, where digital decisions increasingly influence business success.
