Gurudutt Joglekar has been appointed as the new Country President of Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad, effective immediately. With a career spanning more than two decades across Malaysia, Hong Kong, and India, Joglekar brings extensive experience in motor and commercial property and casualty insurance. He joined Chubb as Deputy Country President in June 2026 and will now lead the company’s general insurance business in Malaysia.
Joglekar will oversee Chubb Malaysia’s operations in personal lines, accident and health, and commercial property and casualty insurance. He will report to Marcos Gunn, Regional President of Asia Pacific. Gunn praised Joglekar as a “strategic and results-driven leader” who will spearhead the company’s growth and operational transformation in Malaysia.
The appointment underscores Chubb’s commitment to expanding its consumer and commercial insurance businesses in the region. Joglekar’s leadership is expected to drive continued growth and innovation in this key market.
Outgoing Country President Jon Longmore will transition to a new role within Chubb, with further details to be announced soon. Chubb, a global leader in insurance, operates in 54 countries and territories, offering a wide range of insurance products and services. The company is known for its financial strength and extensive distribution capabilities.
