Metrocon Holdings Limited has successfully completed a compliance placement of 23 million new ordinary shares at S$0.20 each, raising S$4.6m. This move is designed to meet the minimum public float requirement and support the company’s growth initiatives. Trading of Metrocon’s shares on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) under its new name is set to resume at 9.00 a.m. on 15 September 2026.
The funds raised will be channelled towards upgrading Metrocon’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA) registration to Grade L6 under the CR08 (Piling Works) workhead, enhancing its workforce, and exploring business expansion opportunities.
