MUSE Intelligence has announced the establishment of its Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore, marking a significant step in its regional expansion. The company, a subsidiary of Australian-headquartered MUSE Technology Pty Ltd, is set to develop data and benchmark infrastructure for evaluating investment-grade physical assets, starting with luxury assets through its MUSE Luxury Investment Index (MLII).
The initiative comes at a time when financial institutions are under pressure to improve investment transparency and risk management amidst global economic uncertainty. MUSE Intelligence plans to collaborate with financial institutions in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand to pilot the MLII within institutional workflows. “Many valuable physical assets are difficult for financial institutions to assess consistently because the information around them is fragmented,” said Michelle Zhang, Founder and CEO of MUSE. The MLII aims to address these challenges by providing a structured benchmark for luxury asset market performance.
The MUSE platform, which connects investors with suppliers of investment-grade physical assets, will underpin this effort. It features a Digital Vault for asset listings, sale and resale capabilities, and onboarding processes. The platform’s AI capabilities and blockchain-supported asset records will be leveraged to analyse pricing signals and demand patterns.
MUSE Intelligence’s immediate focus is on developing pilot projects with financial institutions to test the MLII’s applicability. AJ Lee, Chief Communications Officer and Asia Director, stated, “These pilots will help us understand where MLII can deliver the greatest value for banks and their clients.”
Looking ahead, MUSE Intelligence aims to expand its data and benchmark capabilities into valuation and risk intelligence for physical assets, potentially informing future financing applications and investment products. The Singapore launch follows MUSE’s Asia expansion announced in October 2025.
