SingHealth has successfully raised $1.25m for the President’s Challenge 2026, as announced by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam at the Grand Finale event held at Sengkang Community Hospital. The campaign, themed “Compassion that Sustains”, was led by SingHealth Community Hospitals and involved more than 38,000 staff from 14 institutions.
The year-long initiative featured various fundraising activities, including a signature sporting event at Our Tampines Hub on 5 September, which was attended by over 450 colleagues. Participants engaged in sports such as badminton and pickleball, alongside a team relay challenge and a cheerleading competition. Additional efforts included pledge card donation drives, charity bazaars, and outreach activities with SingHealth’s adopted President’s Challenge benefitting organisations.
SingHealth continues its partnership with four organisations—Abilities Beyond Limitations and Expectations Limited, Centre for Seniors, Filos Community Services, and St. Andrew’s Mission Hospital—for the second consecutive year. This collaboration aims to foster long-term community impact through sustained engagement, including health talks and educational workshops, reaching over 700 beneficiaries in 2026.
Professor Ng Wai Hoe, Group CEO of SingHealth, expressed gratitude for the collective efforts, stating, “Through our collective efforts, we raised $1.25m. As we continue our partnership with our adopted President’s Challenge benefitting organisations, we remain committed to fostering meaningful, long-term collaborations.”
The campaign underscores SingHealth’s dedication to building enduring relationships with community partners and supporting the wellbeing of vulnerable populations.
