Pine Labs and Stripe have announced a partnership to launch a unified commerce solution in Singapore, allowing retailers to manage online and in-store payments through a single platform. This initiative, set to be available from November 2026, aims to streamline operations and enhance customer engagement for eligible merchants.
The collaboration addresses the rising complexity and cost of managing multiple payment providers, a challenge highlighted by the increasing adoption of digital payments in Singapore, which has reached 92%. By combining Stripe’s online payment capabilities with Pine Labs’ in-store payment expertise, the solution offers consolidated transaction reporting, instalment financing, and loyalty-linked payments.
Pine Labs’ CEO, B Amrish Rau, stated, “Retailers no longer think of e-commerce and physical stores as separate channels. They expect a connected view of payments, customer engagement, and business performance across every touchpoint.” This unified approach is designed to reduce operational overheads and improve customer experiences.
The solution will be showcased at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2026, with plans to expand into other Southeast Asian markets in 2027. Pine Labs has reported a significant financial upturn, with quarterly profits rising sixfold and a 24% revenue increase year-on-year, underscoring the potential impact of this partnership on the region’s retail landscape.
